Within the captivating realm of Phōs, light transcends its traditional role as a static element and becomes an embodiment of life and energy. Inspired by the scientific theory of biophotons, Phōs aims to create a spiritual experience for the user, inviting them to contemplate their own connection to the world around them. The theory of biophotons suggests that living organisms emit and absorb light energy at the cellular level, and this phenomenon has been found to play a crucial role in biological processes such as cell communication and DNA replication. In its dormant state, Phōs envelops the space in a tranquil azure glow. However, as visitors step into the installation, the sensors meticulously capture the intricate details of each motion, and shades of vibrant red light infuse the space mirroring the warmth and vitality of the human presence.

A mű felületén kirajzolódó kép két különböző médium egy réteggé összeálló fúziójával jelenik meg. A diafilm analóg mélysége találkozik a digitális kijelző megszámlálható képpontokból álló mátrix-rácsával. A kijelző panel az installációban nem a megszokott módon – a beépített áramkörrel van vezérelve, hanem azt kiiktatva, direktben a folyadékkristályokat működésbe hozó csatornák aktiválásával. Emiatt nem egy előre konfigurált kép látható, hanem egy kísérletezési folyamat eredménye, mely folyamatos változásban van. Ezek a minták a digitális kijelző eredeti funkcióját tekintve hibák összessége, jelen esetben viszont éppen ezek hozzák létre a mű fő jelentéstartományát.
